Tough day at the Farwell Tournament. Varsity boys dropped 2, losing 35-45 to Vega and 32-62 to Farwell. JV also struggled and came away with a loss. But, the guys are playing hard and improving every day. Just gotta stay positive and keep doing the work! Back at it tomorrow morning at 11:30 am for both teams. It's not easy to get fired up for a game at 10:20 in the morning, in a pretty empty gym, but the boys were able to get themselves going, played some really good basketball, and got a W over Morton 62-35! Maybe it was knowing that winning game 1 meant a game 2 this afternoon and no return to school 😜 Gonna be a tough one at 3:40 pm against either Texline or Panhandle, but another opportunity to compete and get better! #MulePRIDE #ItStartsWithUs

Guys played hard this morning, but came up short against a very good Nazareth team. At times, we played the best basketball we've played all year. Just gotta learn to stretch out those periods, and shorten the spurts where we relapse into old (bad) habits. They are competing and growing though, and I'm proud of their effort!
